As I was near the end of recording, I realised I should have called this podcast "songs to remove your clothes to", given the soundtrack use of songs by the last band. May I present 5 great songs by 4 great bands:
- Gum - Asleep At The Wheel
- The Nicoles - Ambulance
- Treehouse Burning - Rocket Science
- A Band Called Quinn - Astronauts and The World Is Upside Down
Soundbed music for today's podcast is by Map. The title music is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.

Listened to Show 65 on the way home today and just wanted to say how brilliant it was! It's going straight into my "favourites" folder on my mp3 player so it doesn't get erased...

Thanks for playing the Gumsters again, Gabor. The exposure is always appreciated. Quinn as, always, were excellent ... they really should be a household name by now. There is a Glasgow connection at work here ... the synth on the Eisenhowers track '25 o'clock' was played by Ronan, who used to be in a band called Hardbody with Louise and Bal from Quinn (and also Mick from Belle and Sebastian). Confused? You soon will be.
Well well. It's been waaaaaay too long since I last left a comment. I listen every week, kicking off my Monday morning and starting my week in the best possible way. I just somehow forget to leave comments these days.
Nevertheless - here I am. Just wanted to say that the final track on the show - by Quinn - was truly exquisite. Not that the rest of the show was anything other than excellent either, but this one was new to me and just hit that spot.
Thanks for such a great Monday Moment, Gabor & Quinn ;-)
