Alex Tiuniaev - The PathAlex is an electronic musician and composer from Moscow. The Path has a film score feel to it; I'll leave it to you to visualise an appropriate scene. Alex collaborates with John Luttrell (see podcast no 69) on their recording project Garden Hose Universe (also no 69).

The Laurel Collective - International Love affairHailing from Scotland, England, Wales, Nigeria and Italy, The Laurel Collective play a schitzophrenic range of pop as diverse as their backgrounds. Fronted by the contrasting vocal styles of Martin Sakutu and Bob Tollast, their live shows are fast becoming the stuff of legend. Franz Ferdinand make music for girls to dance to - The Laurel Collective make music for girls to eat cake to. International Love affair is taken from their 2006 ep Chemical Changes.
Neon Company - Big ZeroLed by Johnny Decibel with his cherry red sunburst Yamaha SG2000, this band from Wakefield, Yorkshire make a big noise. I can tell you they like feedback (so give them some!). Big Zero is the first track from Neon Company's Neon Riot ep, currently a work in progress. I hope to be able to bring you more news when the ep is out.
Stereomovers - Love Is... and All I CraveSteromovers are Alex D and Simon Roy, from Montreal, Canada. They play cracking music, loud and danceable. Love Is ... is from their excellent debut ep (I played Ozean, the first track in podcast no 66) which you can buy at iTunes. All I Crave is a brand new song, from a not-yet-available second ep.
Today's soundbed music was Journey to Farpoint by John Luttrell, and the signature tune is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.

Gabor - The new site looks great. That new Stereomovers track's a beauty. I don't think those guys know how to record a bad track! Bruce.
You certainly know how to pick some really cracking electronica which grabs me immediately ! Great opening to the show. One to listen to again as it was such a great selection of music.
I'm off to check out some of Alex's other work.
Oh - and I like the new banner too. Great shot and colours that draw the attention straight away.
