The title of today's podcast was inspired by one of the songs. I'm sorry if it sounds bitty. It's been that kind of day and in fact I've recorded the podcast in 3 sittings spread over more than 12 hours.

Today's music is, I hope, a treat for your ears:

Pipe Choir - Lights Up

Pipe Choir is a mysterious band from (I think) Boston. I know nothing about them, but they play fine music.

Listen to more and buy at amie street

Caroline Vinciguerra - Bella's Song

I last played this song on no 31. At that time I had e-mails from a listener who had fallen in love with Caroline's voice. She has a 5 track ep "Bored and Gorgeous" which you can buy at iTunes

Arthur And Martha - Music For Hairproducts

Describing themselves as the love children of Helen of Troy and Hal 9000, Martha (Alice Hubley) and Arthur (Adam Cresswell) met one rainy night in Leeds. Like anyone with half a soul and half a mind, they shared a love of Kraftwerk, Factory Records, blissful pop and battered old synths. Over games of Top Trumps a friendship was made and a few years later circumstance brought them together in London, both with tunes to play and a world to change.

The Hero Cycle - Lovers Crimes and Breathing In

The Hero Cycle started in the Green Mountains of Vermont in 2005. Their unique sound has been shaped by the eclectic mix of energy brought forth by each of the band's 7 members. The Hero Cycle shares their musical tastes and influences of the 80's to current day and emotional attachments to vice and pleasure with a hopeful ever evolving crowd of music-lovers.

This week, for soundbed music I used Victory by Jeff Wahl andSecure by The Midnight Foundation.
The title music is by Tragic Shell Suit Disaster.
